Introduction
BareVid ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
Information We Collect
Information Collected Directly by the App
The App performs all video editing processing on your device. Video data and caption data are never sent to external servers.
How Imported Videos Are Stored
When you select a video to edit, the App keeps a working copy in its private storage on the device. This copy:
- Is not uploaded anywhere — all processing happens on the device.
- Is excluded from iCloud and Google account backups, so editing large videos does not consume your cloud storage quota.
- Is deleted automatically when you delete the corresponding saved settings, or when you uninstall the App. The original video in your gallery is never touched.
Advertising Information
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect information such as device information and advertising identifiers for ad delivery and personalization. For details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
Crash Reports
The App may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports for quality improvement. This includes device type, OS version, and error logs.
This Website
This help site stores one cookie, barevid-lang, which records whether you are reading the English or the Japanese pages so that the site can open in the same language next time. Its value is only ever en or ja, and it is not used for analytics or advertising.
The site loads its web fonts from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and browser information, as described in Google's Fonts privacy summary. Apart from those font requests, the site runs no analytics and collects nothing about your visit.
